WORKSHOPS/ CLASSES Photography Workshops:
Local:
Monthly hands on group photo workshops for either half day (4 hours) or full day (8 hours) at locations around Jacksonville ranging from Darien Georgia in the north, to St. Augustine in the south, to Gainesville in the west and to the Atlantic Ocean in the east. Location varies from month to month. Group size is from 8 to 12 and kept small so everybody gets personal attention. Each includes field instruction consisting of lessons, advice and help with whatever question you have. Rates are $40 per person for the half day and $80 for the full day. Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge Nature Photography Workshops: Five workshops per year starting with beginners in January all the way through advanced lessons in November, and, a digital darkroom session in the summer. On Location Weekend Nature Photography Workshops:
In addition, 2 to 3 day weekend photo excursions in the mountains of the eastern United States from West Virginia to North Carolina in the spring and fall. Classroom lessons, lots of shooting in wonderful locations, and a welcoming social the first night. Cost varies by location and length of workshop so write for information. Private Instruction: Want some one-on-one help? Take advantage of personalized individual instruction in all facets of digital photography from the basic fundamental photographic concepts, to using your camera, to more advanced topics and on to editing on the computer using digital editing software. Private tutoring by the hour @ $40 per hour per person, plus travel at 40 cents a mile round trip to your location. Group discounts are available and are determined on a case by case basis. In addition, half day (4 hour) and full day (8 hour) instructional workshops similar to the group workshops above are available. These workshops consist of field shooting with instruction at a location of your choosing around southern Georgia and northern Florida. If you have no special location, I will select one. Half day workshop fee is $150 per person with no added travel expense. Full day workshops are $250 per person again with no travel.
